Mak Muji’s are expert hands. At 55, she searches through the waste produced by the approximately 10 million people residing in Jakarta, Indonesia. When he’s not picking up plastics, Muji practices prenatal massages to ease the pain of pregnant neighbors. She helps women in labor during the birth. Together with photographer Elisabetta Zavoli, I could visit her clinic and home and hear about her life, hopes.
